Project: Maxton Design

Location: Leeds

Size: 1044 sqft

Maxton’s redesigned reception at their Leeds office perfectly reflects their brand by transforming a previously plain, underutilised area into a vibrant and engaging space. Combining bold design elements with functional layout, the new reception not only showcases their automotive styling products and merchandise but also creates an inviting atmosphere for clients, effectively reinforcing the company’s identity as a key distributor and installer of high-quality automotive parts.

The revamped reception area features a new two person reception desk with electronic glass swing gate near the main entrance, serving as the key point of contact for arriving customers. Bespoke joinery, including a storage unit and merchandise display and powder-coated metal grid displays Maxton’s products. Enhanced by a new dark ceiling with Maxton red linear lighting and directional track lighting, the space exudes a moody yet cosy ambiance.

The interior scheme seamlessly flows from the reception into the adjacent customer waiting and staff breakout room, offering refreshments, a TV and games console for entertainment and a cosy environment whilst the Maxton team fit customer vehicles with their purchased products.

Thoughtfully selected tactile finishes and textures help create interest to a quite simple concept. This careful interplay of materials invites touch and visual intrigue, elevating the overall aesthetic.
